Mooresville sits in the northeast corner of Morgan County, which puts it just outside Johnson County and well inside our range. It is the second largest community in Morgan County, founded in 1824 by Samuel Moore, and it is where the current Indiana state flag was designed.
The town splits neatly into two kinds of property. There are the older in-town lots around the original center, and then there is everything on the way out of town, where lots turn into acreage quickly.

In-town Mooresville properties have the traits of any established Indiana town: mature shade trees, older foundation plantings, and turf that has been there long enough to have settled into whatever the soil allows.
Get outside the center and it changes fast. Acreage properties bring open mowing, long fence lines, ditch banks, and tree lines that need holding back. It is closer to the work we do around Banta than to anything in a Greenwood subdivision.
Because Mooresville is our western edge, we schedule it in blocks rather than scattering it through the week. That keeps drive time down, and it means we can usually offer a consistent day rather than moving a property around the calendar.
Worth stating plainly: Mooresville is in Morgan County, not Johnson County. Plenty of lawn care companies advertise Johnson County and quietly stop at the line. We cross it.
